ABOUT THE JEWELRY

What are your pieces made of?
Every chain and charm is made from either durable Titanium Steel and/or Titanium Steel with an 18K gold PVD coating.

Will it turn my skin green or tarnish?
Nope! Our pieces are tarnish-resistant and hypoallergenic, made to avoid the dreaded green finger. In fact, that's exactly why ALCHEME exists.

Can I wear it in the shower, pool, or gym?
Yes. Our pieces are waterproof and made to keep up with real life. To keep them looking their best, we recommend avoiding harsh chemicals like bleach or prolonged exposure to chlorine.

How do I care for my jewelry?
Barely any care needed, which is the whole point. If it needs a refresh, wipe it with your enclosed ALCHEME soft cloth and mild soap and water.

THE LAB AND CUSTOMIZING

What is the Lab?
It's our interactive space where you're the alchemist. Mix, match, and layer pieces to build something that's yours.

Can I personalize my jewelry?
Yes! We offer custom laser engraving on blanks and rings. Add a date, initials, or a symbol that means something to you.

How long does engraving take?
Engraving adds 2 business days, so engraved orders ship within 5-7 business days. Good magic takes a little time.

ORDERS AND SHIPPING

How long does shipping take?
Orders ship within 3-5 business days. Once your order is on its way, you'll get a tracking number by email.

Do you offer free shipping?
Yes! Orders over $100 ship free within the US. 

Do you ship internationally?
Not yet, but we're working on it!

What's your return policy?
Not in love? You can return unworn, unengraved items in their original packaging within 14 days of delivery (or 14 days of purchase for in-person orders) for store credit, and your first ring size exchange is free! Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, and original shipping fees are non-refundable. Email us at shopalchemejewelry@gmail.com to start your return.

What if my order arrives damaged or defective?
We'll make it right! Email us at shopalchemejewelry@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photo. We'll replace the item or refund you, and we'll cover the shipping. We can't cover breakage from normal wear, snagging, or rough handling once your piece is in your hands. Gifting? Let us know if the recipient needs more time.

Can I return or exchange engraved or custom charm pieces?
Engraved and custom charm pieces are made just for you, so they're final sale unless they arrive damaged or defective. Please double-check your spelling and details before you order!

Why store credit instead of a refund?
As a small business, store credit helps us keep our prices fair while still giving you a safety net. You can use it on anything in the Lab, including your next custom creation.

FINAL SALE 

Engraved and custom charm pieces built in the Lab are made just for you, so they can't be returned or exchanged. Earrings are final sale for hygiene reasons.

Is ALCHEME a small business?
Yes! ALCHEME is a small, Latina-owned business. I started it as a busy mom who wanted jewelry that didn't need babying, and every order you place helps this little Lab grow. Thank you for supporting a small business!

Do you have any launch gifts or promotions?
Yes! Our first 50 orders over $50 come with a free ALCHEME custom jewelry travel bag. This applies to orders placed on our website and at in-person events, and it's limited to the first 50 combined, so once they're gone, they're gone. No code needed, it'll be tucked into your order.
