Why I Started ALCHEME

Confession: I'm not a "take your rings off before washing your hands" kind of gal. Between being a new mom, working full time, and getting my MBA, my life doesn't have room for jewelry that needs babying.

And every piece I'd tried let me down. Green fingers. Tarnished chains. Necklaces that looked amazing for about a week.

So I started experimenting. I wanted jewelry that could keep up: waterproof, tarnish-resistant, and beautiful enough to wear every single day. One less thing to worry about.
