Ring Size Guide
Find Your Ring Size
No ring sizer? No problem. You can find your size at home in a few minutes.
Option 1: Measure a ring you already own
- Choose a ring that fits the finger you want to wear your new one on.
- Lay it flat on a ruler and measure straight across the inside edge, in millimeters.
- Match that number to the Inside Diameter column below.
Option 2: Measure your finger
- Wrap a strip of paper or string around the base of your finger.
- Mark where the end meets the rest of the strip.
- Lay it flat and measure from the end to your mark, in millimeters.
- Match that number to the Circumference column below.
| US Size | Inside Diameter | Circumference |
|---|---|---|
| 5 | 15.7 mm | 49.3 mm |
| 6 | 16.5 mm | 51.9 mm |
| 7 | 17.3 mm | 54.4 mm |
| 8 | 18.2 mm | 57.0 mm |
| 9 | 19.0 mm | 59.5 mm |
A few alchemist tips
- Measure at the end of the day. Fingers swell a little as the day goes on and when it’s warm.
- Between sizes? Size up. It’s easier to wear a slightly roomy ring than one that’s too snug.
- Make sure it fits over your knuckle. A ring should slide on with a little resistance and come off with a gentle twist.
- Measure twice. Paper and string can stretch or slip, so repeat it to be sure.
